Mr Natural was a unique figure in the world of noise music, and represents an element of the genre that had a heavy focus on a seriousness of approach, and an emphasis on quality.

  Based in Nashville, Tennessee, he steadily released his music and that of other noise luminaries, on his label GLK. The catalog includes The Haters and Bastard Noise. He also regularly toured, especially in Europe, from the late 90’s until 2005.  

  In his later years, he circled the US with a monster PA system packed into the “Tali-Van” and performed with United Scum Soundclash, Sikhara, The Radon Ensemble and Z’EV. He also drove tours for Rhys Chatham and Jean Louis Costes’ “Little Birds Shit” for which he was the opening act. 

  Mr Natural aka John Sharp was one of the core members of the Radon Collective, and the final years of Radon’s intense activity in the USA could not have happened without him. 

  He was a respected and beloved figure in underground music and a presence that is sorely missed.
