BenJamin Brejon has carved a monumental place for himself in the Radon lore, for he is the man behind Radon's incursion into Portugal, one of the dual hometowns of Radon in Europe.
Damn near all of the core crew played there.  Important projects like the printing arrangement with Lisboa's Camera Municiple...the formation of United Scum Soundclash,..
Not to mention, Mecanosphere gigs payed for a lot of shit, for a lot of artists.

all of this owes a debt to Mr. Brejon, who ultimately, just wanted to "blast some beats"

An intense collaboration between Brejon and Scott Nydegger began when they assembled with Adolfo as Mecanosphere for a book festival and the release of Adolfo’s book.

Over the course of 2004-2005, they were a highly influential and controversial band in the country.  Yet with the influence and notoriety, brought the ability to bring many artists to Portugal and for many collaborations to grow out of it.

A sub-genre of beat heavy, left of center projects with ties to Portugal and France can be traced back to these origins.
